The Macao SME Association is a non-profit making organization established in May 1998. In endeavours to assist small and medium sized enterprises (“SMEs”) to explore and develop markets and to enhance their competitiveness. Our members include entrepreneurs and management staff of all trades in Macao, as well as professionals who are well versed in commerce/industry, trading, finance and technology.
Apart from providing all sorts of information, legal, translation and commercial consultation services, we also collect information of suppliers and buyers all over the world. In the area of sharing of technology and experience, we sponsor seminars and lessons of various topics and invite speakers who are experts and scholars to impact on us all relevant information and experience. To assist local SMEs to explore markets locally and abroad, we proactively organize our members to participate in exhibitions and pay visit overseas with a view to promoting our co-operation and liaison with our counterparts in the vicinity. To share the successful experience of enterprises in other places, we organize workshops on a monthly basis to inspire management concept and enhance competitiveness.
In the near future, we will grasp the idea of CEPA to help small and medium sized enterprises in Macao to exploit the new business opportunities on the mainland by developing economic/trading co-operation with enterprises on the Mainland on a multi-level basis.
